Anant Pai was Indian comics book creator.He was born on 17 september 1929 at karkala,karnataka and He was died on 24 February 2011 at age 81.He created famous comic book Amar chitra katha series in 1967.He is known as uncle pai.It sells about three million comic books a year, in English and more than 20 indian languages,and has sold about 100 million copies since it inception in 1967 by Anant Pai.
